Restaurant: The Green Path – Forgotten Food – Opp. Sampige Road Metro Station, Sheshadripuram, Bengaluru, IN.
Wanted to try something new, and we decided to head to The Green Path. As soon as we entered, we felt like we were in a Green World, very good wood and plant combination based interior. They have Organic store and Detox Cafe in the GF, Banquet in FF and Multi Cuisine Forgotten Food restaurant on the SF.
At 1.40pm on a Sunday, we had to wait for our turn of organic exploration. Buffet was the only option, which was actually good when you want to try many items. Starting with Tomato Soup, Aloo Bendi Fry, Bhaingan Roast, we felt we had made some good decision to visit this place. The items were fresh, so natural in taste and not at all having a commercial touch to it. The Starters were served on the table. Then the list on the buffet continued with Aloo Fry, Sprouts, Chick Pea salad, Dosa, Rajma Masala, Roti, Millet Pongal, Ginger Garlic Rice, Obbattu (Puran Poli), Millet Kheer, Brownie, Mango and Ragi Ice Creams.
We didn’t hesitate and had multiple servings of Obbattu & Mango ice creams as they hit our tastebuds very well 😀
At Rs.578 all incl., this was good deal. The staff were friendly, service was good, with the founder Mr.Jayaram leading the team and making sure all guests were comfortable and happy.
The main plus point of this place is, they have their own organic farm around Bengaluru city, thus being able to provide fresh, confirmed organic food.
During our next visit, we will try out their pizzas’ at the Detox Cafe.
